Remote Sensing of Soil Water: Soil Moisture Active Passive and Beyond

SSSA Division: Soil Physics and Hydrology
This session will highlight forthcoming NASA’s Soil Moisture Active Passive (SMAP) satellite products, applications, and on-ground activities related to large-scale soil moisture efforts. Furthermore, we seek contributions that support remotely sensed soil moisture research from soil moisture networks and airborne field campaigns to data assimilation and modeling efforts.
