Session Description: Datasets with adequate metadata can be useful for auxiliary and after-the-fact investigations and reanalysis. However, the time and cost requirements of preparing such datasets are often overlooked, which can undermine achieving the full value of the data. This symposium aims to address the costs and expertise requirements for sharing large datasets, and to present success stories and limitations.
