  • Abstract:
Bermudagrass turf was overseeded at three rates (0,15 and 30 #/1000 ft2) with perennial ryegrass in the autumn of 2014 at four sites (Lexington, KY, Blacksburg, VA, Fayetteville, AR and West Lafayette, IN). Ryegrass and bermudagrass coverage were deterimined the following spring as well as soil temperatures at the crown level measured. Throughout the winter samples were taken for stem carbohydrate status. Overseeding appeared to slighltly decrease carbohydrate status.
