A cool-season lawn species mixture was planted and mixed with 5% 'Microclover' white clover (Trifolium repens). After establishment the turf was divided into a factorial of four treatments nitrogen (N) at 0 or 98 kg N ha-1)and 'Microclover' (present or absent). After two years of measuring dry matter yield (DMY) and visual apperance the use of microclover apperas feasible as a potenital low maintenance lawn turf were little to no supplemental N is desired.
