Abstract:
Soil Pb poses a potential Pb hazard for the public. Previous research has documented how and when soil Pb treatments might be effective for reducing soil Pb hazards. A public health perspective is useful for contextualizing urban soil Pb hazards within the broader Pb hazards to which people may be exposed. Using multiple datasets and collaborations, this poster highlights the importance of addressing all encountered Pb hazards to reduce blood lead levels. Discussions about urban soil Pb with the public can be used to start conversations about all potential Pb exposure pathways.
