Abstract:
How can you create buzz around your research? How can you connect with other researchers? How can you make sure your work actually gets seen? Social media presents ideal platforms that can inform, tease and share your research, and help you forge meaningful relationships with those who care about your work. In this session, youÕll learn tools and tips for identifying your target social audiences and crafting social media messaging and strategies that connect to them. WeÕll discuss how to find audiences and conversations you can leverage; weÕll touch on social media best practices; and weÕll discuss basic social analyticsÑin other words, how to prove that social media is worth the effort.
