This will be an all day tour in the Phoenix area exploring soil and water relationships in the watersheds of this major metropolitan desert environment. Research from the LTER.CAP (https://caplter.asu.edu)/will be highlighted with urban soils, wetlands, watersheds, and park open space in the focus. Major stops include Rio Salado Audubon Center and Habitat Restoration Area, South Moountain Park, Tempe Town Lake,  Peublo Grande Archeological  Museum , and PHX Renews Community Gardens.--CEUs available
