Session Description: Forages and grazinglands provide food and feed for livestock and wildlife, habitat for wildlife, aesthetically pleasing rural lands, and a myriad of other benefits to society.  Grazinglands are the vast majority of agriculture lands in the USA and worldwide, and forages are the primary component of ruminant livestock diet.  Climate change, population growth, crop diseases and pests, and other abiotic and biotic stresses impact the success and sustainability of forages and grazinglands.  Resiliency is key to overcoming challenges of forage production and grazingland management.  This symposium focuses on multidisciplinary topics which impact and improve upon the resiliency of forage and grazinglands.
