Session Description: This symposia is aimed to provide a voice to crop breeders, physiologists and geneticists working on crops with limited acreage. Many of these crops have unique stress tolerance and/or nutritional potential which has been incompletely exploited, in part due to the strong focus on a small number of major crop plants (maize, soybean, rice, wheat) in the 20th century.
