Cosponsor: C04 Seed Physiology, Production and Technology, C08 Plant Genetic Resources, C01 Crop Breeding and Genetics, C09 Biomedical, Health-Beneficial, and Nutritionally Enhanced Plants, C02 Crop Physiology and Metabolism
Community Cosponsor: Bioinformatics in Crops and Soils Community, Bioenergy Systems Community, Cotton and Other Fibers Community, Applied Soybean Research Community, Tropical Legumes Community
Format: Oral Symposium
Keywords: Abiotic stress, Biotic Stress and Climate Change

Session Description: The goal of this symposium is to highlight recent advances in the discovery of QTL that can improve crop resilience. There are recent examples of  such QTL being used to breed resilient crop plants for current and future cropping systems. These include a unique collaboration among geneticists, plant physiologists, remote sensing experts, and plant breeders.
