Session Description: Discussion of research on greenhouse gas emissions from wetland soils as it relates to greenhouse gas accounting systems such as those potentially related to the COP21 Paris Agreement. Presentations will cover processes and models on the factors controlling carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide emissions such as temperature effects, nutrient relations, restoration/net emissions, microbial community linkages, uptake potentials, hydrology, and sea-level rise.
