Abstract:
A variety of soil properties are often suggested for evaluating soil health of agricultural management systems. A small subset of key indicators is proposed to optimize ecological sensitivity with resource allocation. Both management sensitivity and inherent natural variations of soil properties needs to be explored to make rational decisions for selection of broad-based soil health indicators. This presentation will focus on statistical approaches for selecting the most discerning soil health indicators.
