Abstract:
Wheat and other cereal production is highly dependent on synthetic nitrogen fertilizers; and the yield increments due to these fertilizers come with considerable environmental impacts. Interaction with diazotrophs is attractive approach. In this study we screened wild accessions of wheat for their interaction with Azosprillium. We found some positive associations.
