Continued Improvement of Nitrogen Fertility Management for Sugarbeet in the Northwest U.S.

Sugarbeet and corn nitrogen managment research projects conducted at the USDA-ARS Northwest Irrigation and Soil Research Lab will be presented in context of how changing management practices can often lag behind changes in cropping systems and technology. We will highlight the importnace of more rodust and organized research projects to deal with these changes.
