Abstract:
The full-day Crop Diagnostic School provides hands-on, in-field training over a 2 week period in mid July to some 400+ agronomists and crop advisors in Manitoba. This presentation will summarize the lessons in entomology, weeds, plant pathology, crop management, fertility and soil management covered in the 23 continuous years of the school. Annual evaluations will be summarized as to how they direct future programming. A 2017 pre-test, post-test approach will be used to assess lesson retention by agronomists and the application in their scouting activities.
