Abstract:
The presentation illustrates an novel approach using remote sensed imagery to understand causes of spatial and temporal variation of crop yield, water use and nitrogen uptake. The images are integrated in a crop system models to understand the impact of climate variability on long-term yield variations. Various case studies will be presented.
