Abstract:
Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) have emerged as the new standard for on-demand data collection. High-fidelity imagery collected through UAS has become transformational to precision and digital agriculture. Unique sensor payloads and image analysis methods, coupled with additional data layers such as weather, soil and local field information, have the potential to unlock new agronomic insights and field health recommendations for growers. This talk will describe opportunities and challenges in the space of commercial UAS solutions for agriculture.
