Poster Session
SSSA Division: Soil Chemistry
Soil chemistry is central to many pressing issues facing modern society. With rapid increases in population, global stresses are manifesting themselves in threats to humanity, including changes to the atmosphere and climate, and increasing demands on food, water, and energy resources.  In this symposium, we highlight societal challenges through the lens of soil chemistry and discuss strategies for addressing water, climate, and energy related problems. In addition, we couple with the symposium on Soil chemistry, food security and human health for a panel discussion that will help to define the frontiers of soil chemistry research, application, and education.
