Managing Global Resources for a Secure Future

2017 Annual Meeting | Oct. 22-25 | Tampa, FL

294 Global Climate Change and AgMIP: More Recent Observations and Adaptations Poster

Poster Session
ASA Section: Climatology and Modeling
Climate-related impacts on agriculture result from the interaction of climate-related changes with the vulnerability or positive response of natural and human management systems. This session aims to describe climate change and associated extreme eventsĀ (e.g. heat waves, drought, extreme precipitation, wind erosion, flood, etc.) on terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems and to present adaptive solutions (genetics, cropping practices, cover crops) or tools (models) for implementing long-term adaptation and mitigation strategies. We strongly encourage papers from both experimentalists and modelers in this area.
