Sustainable biotechnology is a cross-discipline topic that is of increasing importance in the agronomy, crops, and soils fields of study. This session, organized by graduate students, focuses on the science and future of sustainable biotechnology. A panel of experts with perspectives from private and public sector organizations will discuss topics such as the development of sustainable biotechnology, assessing the impacts of such technology, and the need and desire for organic technologies and certifications. For maximum inclusiveness, audience members will have the opportunity to address the expert panel through live-tweeting and question cards during the Think Tank.
