Session Description: The Agricultural Model Intercomparison and Improvement Project (AgMIP) is an innovative integrated effort to assess the vulnerability and resilience of agricultural systems, especially in relation to climate change and water management, through modeling studies. There has been a lot of research in terms of model intercomparison for plant growth and evapotranspiration simulations, and on model improvements. We invite papers discussing the theoretical and experimental aspects of these modeling exercises, providing insightful information on the crop models’ accuracy, uncertainty, and limitation.
