Title: Special Session--Interactive Workshop: Writing Manuscripts for Publication

Session Description: Participants will learn about the process of writing a manuscript for publication through a hands-on workshop. We will review the sequence of steps in creating a publishable manuscript. Participants will prepare the Getting Started Exercise (http://www.esf.edu/for/yanai/publishing/GSE.htm) and get feedback on their choice of problem statement, objectives, and conclusions.  Participants who have analyzed, summarized and reviewed their data will benefit most from this workshop.
