Title: Food (and Drink!) for Thought: A Facilitated Networking Event for Women in Soil Science

Session Description: The first hour of this relaxed and open networking event for women soil scientists of all ranks will be conducted in a "progressive party" style, with participants moving from one themed food-and-drink station to another every 15 minutes (four in total) to participate in facilitated discussions about specific issues women in soil sciences face. This is an opportunity to gather and initiate new collaborations with people you may (or may not) know by name, get ideas for invitations by seminars, and provide connections among female colleagues for the purpose of award nominations and support. Participants will be provided with a full directory of women in attendance for future reference.
