Session Description: Graduate students can play a unique and crucial role in addressing issues at the intersection of food, energy, and water science. Learn how NSF can help students to take on innovative projects that incorporate interdisciplinary elements, bridge academic departments, and facilitate academic collaborations. Please join us for an open discussion with Dr. Jim Jones, NSF’s Program Director for the interdisciplinary Innovations at the Nexus of Food, Energy, and Water Systems (INFEWS) program.  Dr. Jones will describe what INFEWS is, how it works, and answer questions about how graduate students can get involved.
