Founded in 1996, the Zimmerli Art Museum and its 60,000 object collection has gained an international reputation as one of the largest university art museums in the United States. Guests at the Zimmerli will be presented with a rich sense of art and cultural history as they tour the Museum in a private, after-hours setting. After you have had a chance to see the Museum, Dr. Gary Pavlis, Rutgers professor and wine expert will offer and interesting and enjoyable overview of wines from around the world. Gary is a certified wine judge, past President of the American Wine Society, and has worked with the New Jersey Wine Industry for over 30 years. The evening’s festivities will test your ability to smell and taste the difference between a wide range of wines including Cabernet sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Merlot, Sangiovese, Zinfandel, and Shiraz.
