Session Description: There is a rapid increase in agricultural remote sensing, making use of new technologies and communications systems.  Modeling and forecasting algorithms are finding new sources of calibration and validation as well, from satellites to aircraft to UAVs and proximal sensors. Questions remain on how can remote sensing technology help make producers more efficient, profitable and sustainable? The Symposium focus on advances in how this information can be incorporated into agricultural decision making.
