Format: Poster Topical Session
Keywords: Agricultural System Models, Model Sensitivity and Site-specific Modeling
Session Description: Adequate model parameterization requires high-quality input information of soil and plant characteristics. How sensitive are our current models to the experimental or other input information that we feed them. What type of soil and plant information is most influential on the model output? How can spatially variable field information be effectively entered into the model, and does the model output then reflect variable site conditions? The objective of this session is to learn about the effect and benefits of measured information over general default model settings and their capturing of spatially variable field conditions.
