Format: Oral Topical Session
Keywords: stormwater management, stormwater remediation , urban stormwater and water quality

Session Description: Stormwater runoff can transport various pollutants, including nutrients, heavy metals, pathogens, and organic chemicals. These pollutants can lead to water quality degradation in receiving water bodies, such that urban best management practices for stormwater control and remediation are critical. This session explores current research on stormwater management and remediation. We welcome talks on topics including, but not limited to, source tracking of stormwater pollutants, mechanisms of pollutant mobilization and transport via stormwater, stormwater control measures, novel technologies and approaches for improving the performance of stormwater control measures, and studies of green infrastructure and low impact development options for stormwater management.
