Session Description: Climate change has become a major concern among agricultural community. Climate change impacts on agriculture result from the interaction of climate-related variables with the agroecosystem condition and management systems. This session aims to describe climate change and associated events (e.g. heat waves, drought, extreme precipitation, wind erosion, flood, etc.), evaluate their impacts to the agriculture, and present adaptive solutions (genetics, cropping practices, cover crops) or tools (models) and mitigation strategies. We strongly encourage papers from both experimentalists and modelers in this area. All oral presentations given by students in this session will be eligible for Oral Presentation Award Competition.
