Session Description: This topical session focuses on addressing issues related to managing denitrification in agronomic systems. We invite papers related to controlled drainage, denitrification bioreactors, denitrification walls or trenches, saturated buffers, buffer strips, constructed wetlands and other related systems that conserve or remove nutrients from groundwater or surface water.  The session brings together researchers, policy makers, extension personnel, agency employees, industry and educators to develop sustainable solutions for drainage and nutrient management.
