Format: Oral Topical Session
Keywords: climate change, ecosystem services, long term simulations and soil-crop-climate interactions

Session Description: Crop rotations and their management have short and long term effects on crop production, soil properties, resource use efficiency and emissions. Modelling allows the extrapolation of results from long term field experiments into a future under changing climatic conditions. The objective of this session is to learn from case studies using models to assess cropping and management options for different aspects of sustainability and to identify conflicts and knowledge gaps.
