Keywords: Hydraulic properties, Measurement and modeling, Sensors and Thermal properties

Session Description: Soil hydraulic and thermal properties are key parameters for coupled water and heat transport in the critical zone. A variety of new tools, algorithms, and/or modelling skills (e.g., machine learning) have advanced the measurement and/or prediction of these parameters with increased accuracy, ease of use, and/or at larger scales. In this session we invite contributions that focus on advancement of measurement techniques and modelling methods for soil hydraulic and thermal properties. Contributions investigate quantitative linkage between these two properties are highly encouraged.
