Format: Oral Symposium
Keywords: On-farm trial analysis

Session Description: On-farm research is growing in the scientific community because of its potential to test treatments or concepts under “real” conditions. Improvements in technologies to capture intensive on-farm data have made possible the implementation and measurement of on-farm experimentation with higher detail and accuracy. On the other hand, on-farm research introduces higher variability in the experiments than traditional research (such as small plot experimentation). The introduction on higher variability can be seen as a problem if there is not access to the proper tools for analysis.
