Session Description: An increasing population around the world, the need for food security is increasing and presenting new challenges to agriculture practices. Agricultural Management practices need to change to double or perhaps triple the current production to meet the world food and fiber demand. Increasing crop production will create pressure on the nutrients used, natural resources such as water and energy, and it could be detrimental to soil health in general. Expanding science-based knowledge and technology that envision the agricultural renaissance in the 21st century could help us increase land sustainability, maintaining soil health, and conserving our natural resources.
