Session Description: Sustainable agriculture improves soil health, enhances agroecosystem services and supports crop productivity. However, there is a gap in science-based knowledge dissemination on healthy soil to the extension educators, crop consultants, high school science teachers, future farmers, and non-profit organizations. Information is needed on soil health assessment, interpretation, recommendations, services and costs, soil health economics, yield benefits, soil health management and climate change, environmental benefits, cost savings, and future soil health and youth education. The goal of our session is to disseminate science-based knowledge related to soil health education for educators, consultants, teachers, private and public agencies, and the general public.
