Session Description: Information is needed on the effects of agricultural management practices on and C and N cycling, soil health and productivity. This session will focus on the impact of management practices (residue removal or addition, biochar addition, cover crop and N inputs) on soil properties, and C and N dynamics, their transformation and translocation in the soil profile, sequestration as aggregate-associated C and N, losses as water soluble or greenhouse gas emissions, wind and water erosion, and crop yield.
