Title: Examining Soil Contamination Around the Globe Poster (includes student competition)

Session Description: Soil contamination is a growing global concern, and is linked to water and atmospheric pollution, food safety, and human and ecological health. Soil contamination remains a frontier of soil science and a critical challenge for scientists. This session aims to share recent research findings and novel ideas in order to create a dialogue for developing local and global solutions among governmental agencies, industry, and academia from countries around the globe. Contributions can include, but are not limited to, risk characterization, mechanism elucidation, novel soil amendments, engineering solutions, and comprehensive strategies.
