Format: Oral Topical Session
Keywords: nitrogen, phosphorus, soil function and soil microbiome

Session Description: Microorganisms drive many biogeochemical cycles in soil ecosystems. Shifts in microbial driven processes can be associated with changes in larger ecosystem level processes, such as greenhouse gas emissions and nutrient cycling. Therefore, research focused on the activity and function of the soil microbial community rather than assessing species composition will be the focus of this session.
