Abstract:
Realization of the impact that Soybean Rust might have on crop production in the United States brought new interest from growers in the use of fungicides for row crop protection. The agrichemical manufacturers develop pesticides for control of plant pests. Fungicides were developed to reduce disease impact. In the process of determining disease control, yield increases are frequently seen. Three 15-minute presentations will be given to stir thought and discussion. After the brief presentations we will all participate in a 45-minute discussion session.
