The Conservation Tillage Conference has a history of delivering conservation tillage information to growers and now also provides crop advisors with information not just on reducing tillage but also crop production and nutrient management. In just the past two years a Corn University and Soybean School have been added to highlight management changes to increase yield. In 2011, Audience Response Technology (ART) was used to determine if we are getting the program right for crop advisors. ART devices use a Powerpoint platform to create and present survey questions to participants. Beyond speaker and program evaluation, ART helps capture audience demographics and can ask questions to be used to plan future educational sessions.
