49 Symposium--Mitigation of Greenhouse Gas Emissions In Managed Systems

Oral Session
Canadian Society of Soil Science Description of the symposium: This symposium will examine the issues of greenhouse gas emissions from managed systems such as agricultural, agroforestry and forestry systems and best management practices that can effectively reduce greenhouse gas emisssions, including the understanding of the sources and rates of emissions and mechanisms of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The focus will be on methods to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions but could also include policy implications of such mitigation practices and incentives to allow landowners to adopt best management practices
