The Integrating Spatial Educational Experiences (Isee) Ipad App.

This presentation will describe the new Integrating Spatial Educational Experiences (Isee) app for the Apple iPad. The features of the app will be demonstrated, followed by examples of how the app can be incorporated into both lecture and field laboratory course in soil and environmental sciences. The app currently provides highly detailed maps of selected soil properties for Indiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Ohio, West Virginia, and Texas, along with small scale global maps of soil orders, soil moisture regimes, and soil temperature regimes. In addtion to the maps available online, users can created their own maps using ESRI's ArcGIS software and then add them to the app using iTunes.
