The Tech Agronomy Club at Texas Tech University is comprised of undergraduate students in agricultural studies who have a strong desire to both promote agriculture to the public while participating in a wide variety of community service projects. The goal of the club is to reach out to as many service projects that fall into the agriculture-related category. The club has participated or will participate in the following projects:

á      Potato bagging at the South Plains Food Bank

    á      Keep Lubbock Beautiful campaign

á      Pink "Tech Agronomy" hats to benefit Susan G. Komen breast cancer research and awareness

á      South Plains Food Bank GRUB farm assistance

á      Bayer Museum of Agriculture general volunteering

á      "AG FACTS" hand outs and posters in the Student Union Building at Texas Tech

Each of these projects allow members of the Tech Agronomy Club to volunteer in the community where help is needed while incorporating agriculture.
