Abstract:
The West Texas A&M University Farm & Ranch Club worked with the community food bank and an inner city elementary school to construct food plots on the school grounds. These gardens did not only provide food for the children and their families, but also helped these under privileged students learn about agriculture and the importance of food production and the environment.
