Abstract:
The Soil Health Partnership has partnered with farmer, envirnomental, academic, industry, and govermental organizations to construct a research and communications network of farm locations in 9 upper Midwestern states.  Many process improvements and efficiencies in organization, data collection, data management, partnering and collaboration, grant administration, technical assistance and communications have been realized through this farmer-led multi-state effort.  Lessons learned in this developmental pathway can be helpful, adapted and applied more broadly to future translational research and communications efforts across the United States and the globe.
