Abstract:
The assessment of soil health requires studying the entire soil profile and across the landscape. This paper discusses some novel ways to study soil profiles, sampling procedures, and field and laboratory analytical methods. Several of these are being developed in pedological studies but have potential for the assessment of soil health.
