Abstract:
The gap between innovation and adoption of precision ag technology at the farm level has always been a concern but over the last 2 to 3 years this gap has widened. The gap is a result of lack of support, services not providing a clear cut solution for producers, complexity of incorporating into their operation, or some combination of these factors. Producers are inundated with offers for data services, new technology offerings, etc and sometimes they prefer to be a spectator rather than participate. In order to bridge this growing gap we has an industry need to provide clear cut solutions in a customizable package.
