Abstract:
The online Plant Breeding and Genetics Professional certificate program provides professionals with the opportunity to advance their careers, improve their productivity and further their understanding of the latest technology and methods in plant breeding and genetics. This non-academic program is designed for learners to gain knowledge and skills in topics such as plant breeding, crop genetic engineering and crop protection. The target audience for the certificate is professionals working in the agricultural industry and any other learners interested in gaining further training in this subject area. The program currently has 60 active participants who select from course modules taught by experts in plant breeding and genetics. The goal of this online certificate is to prepare learners to be 21st century professionals in agriculture.
