Managing Global Resources for a Secure Future

2017 Annual Meeting | Oct. 22-25 | Tampa, FL

140 Examples of Model Applications in Field Research Poster (includes student competition)

Poster Session
ASA Section: Climatology and Modeling
Agricultural system models integrated experiments open up a vast arena for enhancing site-specific agronomic management across soils and climates and evaluating system sustainability over the long-term beyond the experiments. Application of system models also calls for a systems approach in research and data collection representing all the physical, chemical, and biological processes in the system. Collecting weather data that represent the cropping system under investigation is an essential prerequisite. The objective of this seminar is to bring together people interested in such good data collection and integrating with system models for novel applications for management, and present their experience.
