Securing the livelihood of farmers in emerging markets includes a multi-faceted approach. This session will highlight a wholistic perspective on why and how modernizing techniques, capacity building and partnerships are critical to food security. This session will highlight key initiatives focused on increasing productivity through knowledge transfer, research, outreach, and service provided by NGO’s, academia, government and industry. The desired outcome is to increase awareness and understanding of mechanisms that successfully provide access to modern high-quality inputs, new product concepts, mechanization, and the marketplace.
